Model MMXM: Market Maker Models A-Z (MMBM & MMSM)
The MMXM (Market Maker Model) is the pinnacle of ICT methodology, describing the full path of price delivery from consolidation, expansion, reversal, and retracement back to the origin.
The MMBM Cycle Stages
- Original Consolidation: Starting range where market makers accumulate positions before driving price down.
- Re-Distribution: Drop phases with smaller consolidation ranges created to trap early buyers.
- Smart Money Reversal (SMR): Sweep at key HTF support, displacement, and Market Structure Shift (MSS).
- Low Risk Buy: The first pullback post-SMR, usually aligning with a Breaker Block or FVG level.
- Re-Accumulation: Momentum acceleration phases matching previous Sell-side levels.
- Profit Release (TP): Price targets the original consolidation range to exit all buy positions.
